Drake Mallard trudged through his front door and slumped onto his couch. It had been a long night of tireless fighting. He had help, not that he needed it of course, from Launchpad, Honker, and his daughter Gosalyn, the latter of whom slipping in behind him before softly murmuring a "Goodnight" and dragging herself to her bedroom. Being Darkwing Duck wasn't easy.

"You should have asked for my help," a sultry voice spoke behind him. Drake recognized it immediately.

"From an evil sorceress?" He asked, turning and looking at Morgana, his friend and the woman who had appeared into his life as easily as she had just appeared into his home.

"You know I don't do that anymore," she sauntered over gracefully lowered herself next to him on the couch. "What I mean is: what kind of idiot has a sorceress friend and doesn't ask for her assistance from time to time?"

    "A capable superhero?" He fired.

"Capable superheroes don't ignore help," Morgana countered.

"I don't ignore help! I have Launchpad, Gosalyn, and Honker!"

"Oh please, Launchpad is your obligatory sidekick, and you live with Gosalyn. You have to trust them. I'm talking about actually trusting others for a change. Look at you! You're exhausted. I could have helped," she scolded, sending her infuriating friend a glare. Why didn't he ever listen? She could have been of help today, and he knew it. Darkwing Duck was just too egotistical to admit that he didn't have everything figured out.

"I trust you," Drake rubbed his brow and sighed, dropping his shoulders like some invisible weight had just been hefted upon them.

"Good, so then next time you have a dangerous opponent, you'll ask for my help," Morgana smirked, knowing that she'd won.

"They're all dangerous," he scoffed, rolling his shoulders and straightening up.

"Then you shouldn't have a problem finding one for me to handle," she glanced at him, a sly smile tugging at her lips. Drake let out a sigh again, seeing this incredible woman. She certainly was capable of handing a couple of baddies what they had coming to them, but for some reason he felt himself hesitating. Maybe he didn't really need her; maybe he was just being paranoid.

"I'll let you know," Drake pushed himself off the couch and headed towards the stairwell. Morgana stayed where she was and crossed her arms over her chest  expectantly, raising a slender eyebrow. "What now, Morgana?" He asked, leaning on the banister for support and glancing over his shoulder. She rose from her spot and strutted to where he was, floating as if she walked on air. She drew close to him, so close that he unintentionally straightened his posture. A sly twinkle took residence in her eyes as she whispered ever so softly.

"No goodnight kiss?" Drake eyes widened and all fatigue that had currently gripped his bones vanished. Before he could even respond, the tantalizing sorceress was gone, disappearing as suddenly as she had arrived.

"God dammit Morgana," he grumbled as he finally ascended the staircase for the night.

I'm so sorry this took so long and that its so short, but I'm not familiar with this show or these characters. Considering that, I think this is pretty good. This is a prize for the wonderful kendramccormick . I hope you like it! As for the rest of you, I hope you like it too! Also, keep your eyes out for a new Jarida fan fic!

I don't own these characters.
